Chair in Ash
Here's my expression of this design. It is an ash chair, made some 44 years ago that we call 'the preggy chair '. At the time I happened to be fascinated by making the wooden rounding and trapping planes that made the legs and spindles. The ash was worked in the dry condition and the seat is of woven cord.

I aimed to make it very light and now think I rather overdid it!

It still gives me pleasure to have made the tools needed to make the chair. What I pity I couldn't also have grown the tree, converted and seasoned it!
